1. Do you deliver? Yes. However, delivery to your home is an additional charge.
  2. Do you ship?  At this stage in Timber & Soul no, but this is an option I plan on adding to my services.
  3. Do you require a deposit? I do require a small deposit before I start building.  Typically the deposit is 10% of the total cost.
  4. What type of woods do you use? This depends of the type of furniture piece I am building and whether it will be painted or stained. The most common type of woods I use are : Alder, Pine, Birch plywood, Hard maple, Poplar, Douglas fir, Alder plywood, MDF.
  5. I found a furniture piece on Pinterest that I want built, can I send it to you? Absolutely. Simply click the “send” button at the top of any pin, in the search bar enter my email address: timberandsoul@gmail.com. Feel free to attach a message as well.
  6. Can I pick up my furniture piece? Yes, you may pick-up your custom furniture piece from my shop in Huntington Beach, CA. I will assist you with loading the piece into your vehicle.
  7. Do you use particle board for your furniture? I never have used particle board and I never will. Particle board is engineered wood made from wood chips, wood shavings and sawdust pressed together with glue. Many mass production furniture companies such as IKEA use it to build their furniture. This type of wood lacks strength and rigidity, and tends to fall apart in time.
  8. Can I put together a sketch of what I want built? Absolutely. Email or text me a photo of your sketch, or even drop it over in person at my shop. I will work with you to create the furniture piece you have been dreaming of.
  9. Where does the wood for your reclaimed furniture pieces come from? The majority of the wood I use for my reclaimed furniture comes from discarded shipping pallets. Every now and then I work with reclaimed wood from old barns or warehouses.
